Frankfort Quilt Walk
September 12-13, 2014
Businesses around the downtown square will have quilts displayed in their stores.
This sounded like another "God-incidence".
On the third day she slipped me a note. I felt like I was in middle school again passing notes under the table. Her note said she wanted to know Jesus too, and HalleluYah… Pam accepted Christ as her Savior that weekend!
Last year I sought Pam out and learned she has remained devoted to serving Christ and leading others to Him. She is an entrepreneur who owns HalleluYah Way, a Christian Bookstore on the Frankfort town square!!
How awesome would it be if the Immanuel Quilt were on display in her bookstore and I was allowed to share it with her customers? Could it happen? Was it too late to enter the Quilt Walk? It was only six days away, and since it was the weekend I would have to wait for Monday morning to make the call to find out. Monday morning finally came. God must have wanted me there. He opened every door and I was able to spend two amazing days at HalleluYah Way sharing His quilt.
On the first day I met Fran who came in during her lunch break. She was blown away by His Story of the quilt and couldn’t wait to tell others to come in and see it. She came back in the afternoon to let me know she was unable to focus on her work because she kept thinking about the quilt. She came back again on Saturday and brought friends with her. She had caught the excitement of what God is doing through this quilt.
Word spread about the unique story of God’s quilt, and the people kept coming. I witnessed shed tears, and goose bumps, I met a woman who plans to inform Indiana pastors of the Immanuel Quilt Ministry, and I saw someone become inspired to pursue a dormant dream. God is using this quilt to impact others.
