Surgery had gone well. Mom only had to show us she could walk a bit to be released. When she got up though, an unexpected discovery was found, one that could delay her trip home and possibly send her back to surgery.
We had to wait to see what the surgeon would decide to do about this new finding. So instead of heading home, we waited. We waited the rest of the afternoon. Waiting is not easy.
I had the Immanuel Quilt with me so I placed it over Mom. I was determined to cover her in the names of Jesus. After all there is healing through the power of Jesus’ Names.
Prayers were answered when Mom was released at 5:30 p.m.
Comforter is only one of the many names of Jesus. We have put Mom in God’s hands.
